Loren Campbell Memorial Field, named after former SUNY New Paltz baseball coach Loren Campbell (1954-1961), is home to the Division-III Hawks.

Campbell Field is a regulation-size baseball field (fully enclosed) with Dugouts, spectator seating for 250, an electronic scoreboard, an astroturfed batting tunnel and a soft toss area. The field has full electricity in its dugouts, seating area and batting tunnel. A refreshment and food shed sells to fans on gamedays behind home plate. The field is located behind Elting Gym, next to the varsity tennis courts.

Former SUNY New Paltz head baseball coach Mike Juhl was responsible for many of the improvements at Campbell Field. Juhl built dugouts, painted bleachers, put up fencing, cleared out marsh, fertilized and cut grass, and edged the baselines during the field's renovation in 1999. To simplify maintenance, a professional in-ground irrigation system was installed.
Campbell Field is a premium playing surface for baseball only, with a natural grass playing field. The field includes:

» Beam clay infield, game mound and plate areas and both bullpens
» Double pens in each bullpen
» Crusher dust warning track completely around perimeter.
» Padded backstop
