Players of the Week
Baseball player Tyler Terlecky (Binghamton) and softball player Lauren Motzkin (Woodstock/Onteora) have been selected as the SUNY New Paltz student-athletes of the week for the week ending March 30th.

Tyler Terlecky hit .545 and posted a .545 slugging and on base percentage. He recorded six hits in 11 at-bats with four RBIs as the Hawks went 1-2 on the week with a loss to Ithaca and a SUNYAC opener split with Plattsburgh. Terlecky started all three games at second base with five putouts and eight assists.
Lauren Motzkin led the Hawks to two wins last week with a 7-2, 8-4 sweep against Mt. St. Mary. Motzkin hit .857 and posted a .875 on base percentage. She was six of seven from the plate, including two doubles, with four runs and three RBIs. She was 2-2 on stolen base attempts and recorded nine putouts.
