Softball player Melyssa Cilmi (Huntington Station/Walt Whitman) and tennis player Dana Lim (New City/Clarkstown South) and have been selected as the SUNY New Paltz student-athletes of the week for the week ending April 13th.

Sophomore Melyssa Cilmi hit .500 on the week on 10-20 from the plate, including three doubles. She slugged .650 on the week and had an on base percentage of .583. Cilmi had 17 putouts and five assists on the week, including her third throw down to home plate from center field on the season.
Junior Dana Lim led the women’s tennis team to a 7-2 victory over Union on Saturday as she won No. 1 singles 7-6, 6-2 and teamed up with Eri Yamakawa to win No. 1 doubles 8-2. Earlier in the week, the Hawks lost a tough 5-4 decision to Stevens Tech. Lim won No. 1 doubles with Yamakawa 9-7 and lost a tough No. 1 singles match 6-1, 2-6, 5-7.
