Players of the Week

Field Hockey player Lauren Nicomini and Women’s Cross Country runner Lisa Cassaro have been selected as the SUNY New Paltz student-athlete’s of the week for the week ending October 7th.

FIELD HOCKEY
First year Lauren Nicomini (Newton, NJ/Kittantany Regional) scored a pair of goals and assisted on a third in 3-1 victory over Oswego on Saturday. The goals were the first of Nicomini’s collegiate career while the assist was her fourth on the season.

WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
Lisa Cassaro (West Islip) placed 23rd at the Hamilton Invitational. Cassaro’s time of 19:59 over the 5K course was a personal best by 1:11.
